  • I primarily work with courts, legal aid organizations, bar associations, foundations, universities, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. While much of my experience is in the civil justice system, many of the approaches I use—strategic planning, evaluation, facilitation, and organizational development—are applicable across mission-driven organizations.

  • No. While access to justice has been the primary focus of my career, I also work on organizational strategy, program evaluation, stakeholder engagement, nonprofit leadership, implementation planning, and other complex organizational challenges.

  • Both. Many projects can be completed remotely, while others benefit from on-site interviews, retreats, workshops, or facilitated meetings.

  • I work with organizations throughout the United States, both remotely and in person. Over the course of my career, I've collaborated with organizations in every U.S. state through national research initiatives, strategic planning, policy work, program evaluation, technical assistance, and other justice system improvement efforts.

  • Every project is different. Some engagements involve facilitating a strategic planning process, while others focus on program evaluation, stakeholder engagement, research, or organizational strategy. Most begin with an initial conversation to understand the organization's goals and determine the most appropriate approach.

  • Typically with a conversation. After learning more about your organization and goals, I'll develop a proposed scope of work tailored to your needs.

  • Yes. I regularly present at conferences, facilitate workshops, and lead retreats on topics related to justice system improvement, research, strategic planning, facilitation, and program evaluation.

  • Absolutely. Not every project requires a full evaluation. Sometimes organizations simply need help asking the right questions, gathering information, or developing a practical framework for decision-making.

  • Every engagement is tailored to the organization's goals, scope, and timeline. Depending on the nature of the work, I offer hourly consulting, fixed-fee project engagements, phased projects for larger initiatives, facilitation and speaking fees, and ongoing retainer arrangements. Following an initial conversation, I'll recommend an engagement structure that best fits your organization's needs and budget.

  • Yes. I'm currently accepting new clients on a limited basis for the remainder of 2026. Because I work closely with each organization, I intentionally take on only a small number of engagements at a time.
